授课特点：My name is Naphtali Kerr. Along with tutoring spoken and written English in the states, I've tutored for more than eight months here in BeiJing. I believe in employing a comprehensive method of tutoring to meet the varying needs of the students I tutor from all walks of life.

　　Because my students have ranged in age from pre-school to the elderly I'm constantly adopting varying techniques to enable them all to get the most from their lessons. I personally believe in stressing the very fundamentals of language such as pronunciation, and word etymology, not to mention the various pronunciations of English vowels not always adequately covered in textbooks.

　　Besides the basic mechanics of the English language, I also feel it necessary to focus on more complex areas. Like Chinese, English is a language rich in it's own idioms and spoken terms not to be found in most textbooks. I believe in preparing my students for everyday speech and conversation where they are sure to encounter this type of speech. Finally I round all of this off with constant review and correction of the most common difficulties and errors encountered by Chinese English students. By employing these methods over time in a healthy learning environment, I've been pleased to observe rapid improvement in beginners, and steady improvement in more experienced learners.
